Police ID Victim In Richfield Motorcycle Accident
RICHFIELD, Minn. (WCCO) -- Authorities have identified a 28-year-old motorcyclist who died after he rear-ended a fellow motorcyclist in Richfield Thursday night.
The victim was identified as Benjamin D. Cleaveroy of Bloomington. Police responded to a report of an accident involving two motorcyles at about 8:23 p.m. Thursday near Highways 62 and 77 in Richfield.
Cleaveroy was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at about 9:17 p.m.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner ruled his death as accidental and due to blunt force injuries as a result of the crash. Authorities said they don't know yet if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
