Man Arrested In Attack At Iowa Congressman's Farm
LEON, Iowa (AP) -- Police in Iowa have arrested one man and are seeking another suspected of being involved in a weekend home invasion at U.S. Rep. Leonard Boswell's farm outside Lamoni.
The Iowa Department of Public Safety announced Tuesday that authorities had arrested 19-year-old Cody John Rollins of Lamoni. They are looking for a second suspect, 20-year-old David Palmer Dewberry of Fremont, Neb.
Boswell's office has said a man with a gun entered the congressman's house Saturday night and attacked his daughter. Boswell tried to fight the man off, and as they scuffled, his 22-year-old grandson got a shotgun. When Boswell's grandson pointed the gun at the intruder, the man ran off.
No one was seriously injured.
