2 Delta Planes Collide At Chicago Airport

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two Delta Airlines planes, one headed for Minneapolis, collided while on the ground at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, according to Delta Spokesperson Chris Kelly.

The incident happened just before 8 p.m. Friday as the planes were getting ready to take off. The plane headed for Minneapolis was an airbus carrying 124 passengers, Kelly said. The other was a flight carrying 67 passengers that was headed to Atlanta.

No passengers on either plane were hurt. The plane headed for Minneapolis International Airport arrived about two hours later than expected, Kelly said.

The incident remains under investigation.
