Weekend Forecast: Hot And Muggy, Chance For Storms

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Warm and humid air is over the Twin Cities this weekend, and we won't see a break until at least Tuesday, says WCCO-TV Meteorologist Ron Trenda.

The high should be around 90 for both Saturday and Sunday. Storms rolled through northern and western Minnesota Saturday morning, and there is a chance for storms Saturday night as a cold front moves into central Minnesota.

We're going to hit the low to mid-90s on Monday and it will finally feel more comfortable by Wednesday.

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for several counties in western, central and eastern Minnesota, including the Twin Cities metro area, until 9 p.m. Stay tuned to WCCO Radio, wcco.com and WCCO-TV for all the latest weather updates.
