Weather Blog: A Chance To Dry Out

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- That was quite the soaking we received Tuesday night. Many towns saw rain totals over 2 inches.

There weren't any severe thunderstorm warnings, but there were several flash flood warnings.

Expect plenty of sunshine for your Wednesday and Thursday with cooler and drier air.

High pressure will dominate until late Thursday night/early Friday morning when another cold front swings through bringing a chance of rain.

I am not expecting severe weather nor do I think we will have the rain totals of Tuesday.

At this point, the weekend looks pretty good with a sunny sky Saturday and a slight risk of showers on Sunday.
