1 Dead, 3 Others Stabbed In Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police said one of the four people stabbed overnight in Northeast Minneapolis is dead.

Officers said they learned about the situation around 2:15 a.m. when a woman with stab wounds walked into a police station.

She told police about a stabbing that happened at a nearby home at on 1016 Lowry Avenue Northeast.

In all, three men and the woman were stabbed.

Officers found the second victim near the station, and the third near the home. The fourth person was found dead inside the house.

Police said it sounds like the people know each other, but haven't said if they are looking for a suspect or if one of the victims is a suspect.

There were children sleeping in the home at the time, but they weren't hurt.

Police didn't say how many kids or their ages.

Officers said the three surviving victims were taken to the hospital for their injuries, which were not life-threatening.
