Man Injured After Deck Collapse In Maple Grove
MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (WCCO) -- One man was injured on Wednesday when a deck collapsed at a home in Maple Grove.
It happened on the 8900 block of Vinewood Lane. Two men were on the deck at the time -- the homeowner and a relative. The Maple Grove Fire Chief said it appears the two men were attempting to install a door when the deck gave way and collapsed.
Police say the man who was injured was taken to a hospital, but his injuries were described as non-life threatening. The other man was not injured.
City building inspectors are looking into why the deck collapsed.
