Minnesota's Kill Coaching From Sidelines

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill is coaching from the sidelines against Miami (Ohio), one week after suffering a seizure during a game.

Kill spent much of the week in the hospital recovering. There was some debate about whether he would be on the sidelines or up in the coaching box Saturday, but Kill jogged onto the field with his team for the game against the RedHawks.

Kill collapsed on the sidelines in the closing seconds of last week's loss to New Mexico State. He spent the next five days in the hospital while team doctors tried to adjust his medication to control the seizures, which have plagued him for years.

Kill had three seizures while coaching at Southern Illinois, the last coming in 2005. He never missed a game because of those.
