Nurse Pleads Guilty To Stealing Drugs From Patients

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 40-year-old nurse from a senior care assisted living facility pleaded guilty in Minneapolis Federal Court Friday to stealing Percocet from a patient.

Bert Allen Sieler of Coon Rapids pleaded guilty to one obtaining a controlled substance by fraud. He was charged in connection with the incident on Aug. 30.

In the plea agreement, Sieler admitted that in February he stole Percocet for patients by taking it from their medication bottles and replacing it with Tylenol.

Sieler faces up to four years in prison for the crime.
