Student Arrested After Making Threats At Blackduck HS
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A student was arrested Wednesday after authorities say they made threatening statements to others at Blackduck High School.
Blackduck Police and the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to a call for assistance from Blackduck High School after the threats were made.
Officials reported the student told other students they shouldn't come to school because the student planned to attack people.
School authorities and law enforcement were contacted, which triggered an investigation.
The student was later arrested.
Authorities believe the arrest resolved any potential threat or danger to any of the students in the school district.
