Firefighters said it happened around 2 a.m. Monday at a duplex on 869 Geranium Ave. East.

The Fire Marshal said it started in a second floor light and spread to the attic.

No one was hurt, but there's smoke and water damage through the home.

Damage is estimated to be $25,000 to $35,000.

The Red Cross is helping the five people who were displaced by the fire.
