WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann is brushing off the idea that her campaign is all but giving up on winning the New Hampshire primary.

The Associated Press reported last week that an exodus in New Hampshire cost Bachmann her staff in the first-in-the-nation primary state.

The Minnesota congresswoman tells “Fox News Sunday” that she’s replacing the New Hampshire staff and is focused on Iowa because its caucuses are scheduled Jan. 3, before the New Hampshire primary.

Bachmann has spent little time campaigning in New Hampshire, where her message as a social conservative has less appeal than in Iowa or in South Carolina, another state with an early primary.

I now reluctantly will join the ocean crowd as I jump off the ship into the water.
Her reality wire has broken or she is using bad medications or something. Her mind is not functioning properly anymore.
I started to sense it some time back, maybe in 2008. Things that she addressed in a logical and clear manner previously no longer were always handled the same way. It has progressed from there.
It is a shame as parts of her platform and message are good. These parts are shrinking as she is morphing away into I no longer know what. Get some help Michelle

this chick just wont die…its like someone whos plug has been pulled months ago but she just keeps twitching and jerking enough without brain activity so that the docs cant pronounce her…..

Michelle, You never had a chance – give it up. You never were presidential material. I am a woman and between you and Palin, I can’t say I would ever consider voting for a woman for president. Go back to your religious work as you will not make it as a member of congress in the next election either.

Stop the insanity. Stop embarrasing yourself.

President Bachmann. I like the sound of that.

  5. angus says:

Replacing her New Hampshire staff? She was just quoted a few days ago as saying no one had quit. Did she just fire a bunch of people? Has she been lying to us? Is she in this universe? Did I am almost as confused as she is at the present time.

  6. She may be in the running ... says:

President Bachmann of the Special Needs Class. I too find this appropriate. And nothing personal directed to any who is special needs either …. well, I guess in honest fairness to you all maybe she wouldn’t win this election either. Very sorry. You could have her get on all four and maybe bark??? – you will need a mascot 😉

  7. hehe says:

I love that WCCO posts pointless stuff about Bachmann a the time just to get a laugh out of the comments.

  8. rw says:

you might laugh now but just wait when she is the pres. and gas is under $2/ gallon.

  9. Not From Iowa says:

Simple math for a simple Michele Bachmann: When you run against the middle class, seniors, science, separation of church and state, and women’s rights; your potential pool of voters gets smaller.
