Arctic Cat Recalls 1,400 ATVs

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Arctic Cat is recalling more than a thousand ATVs made in Minnesota.

The Thief River Falls company has received three reports of the steering tie-rod bending and causing the rider to lose control.

No one was injured from the malfunction.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said all the 2011 Arctic Cat X-C 450 ATVs and some of the 2012 X-C 450s are involved in the recall.

The ATVs have been sold at Arctic Cat dealerships since February.

If you own one of the models involved, you're asked to call your nearby ATV dealer to schedule a free repair.
