COTTAGE GROVE, Minn. (WCCO) — The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the person who was killed in a rollover accident in Cottage Grove Thursday afternoon.

The patrol says 26-year-old Christopher Fontaine, of Hastings, was driving along Highway 95 at about 3 p.m. when he lost control near 70th Street.

Fontaine’s car rolled into the ditch.

Authorities said Fontaine was pronounced dead at the scene.

The State Patrol said the passenger in the car, 22-year-old Nicholas Peterson, was taken to Regions Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

    Why JUDGE a person before you even know what the situation was all bout…You may wonder what was going on and you probly would never know…I know he was a very good person and I am proud to say he is a cousin of mine.. So if you mind not too judge so quikly, it just might happen too you or one of your family members…R.I.P Chris we love you!!
