3-Week-Old Infant Dies In Cottage Grove
GOTTAGE GROVE, Minn. (WCCO) – A 3-week old infant died Tuesday morning at a Woodbury Hospital after the baby was found not breathing, according to the Cottage Grove Department of Public Safety.
Cottage Grove Police responded to a report of a medical emergency at about 10:38 a.m. on the 8800 block of 90th Street. When authorities arrived, they found a 3-week-old baby that was not breathing.
The infant was transported to Woodlands Hospital and later pronounced dead. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of the baby's death.
The incident is still under investigation with assistance from the Cottage Grove Police Department.
