1 Killed In Crash With Tree In Wis.
RICHMOND, Wis. (WCCO) -- One person was killed after her car crashed into a tree Thursday morning in Wisconsin.
According to the St. Croix County Sheriff's Department, the crash happened in the town of Richmond at about 7:45 a.m.
A 2009 Mazda sedan was traveling southbound on County Highway A when it failed to negotiate a curve and drove off the road before striking a tree.
The driver, identified as 25-year-old Alicia Bader, of New Richmond, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
