Police: Searchers Find Apparent Missing Person's Body

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Volunteer searchers found a body Saturday morning that appears to be that of a 57-year-old Ham Lake man who has been missing since October, authorities said.

Volunteers found the body around 10:40 a.m during a ground search. The body was dressed in clothes last seen on Jeffrey Jacobus, the Anoka County Sheriff's Office said.

The medical examiner will give a positive identification later, authorities said.

Jacobus left his house on foot on Oct. 11 and hasn't been seen or heard from since.
