Timberwolves Kick Off Shortened NBA Season

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves officially tip off their season on Monday and fans say it's been well worth the wait.

Bars and restaurants say they're ready for Wolves fans, too. The delayed season meant fewer customers stopping in. That could change -- the Wolves say they're experiencing the largest season ticket base since the 2005-2006 season.

Fans are looking forward to seeing these guys in action like all-star Kevin Love and the new kid, Ricky Rubio.
