Bemidji St. Edges Bowling Green 2-1
BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) — David Boehm scored the game-winning goal with 1 second left in the second period to give Bemidji State a 2-1 win over Bowling Green in men's college hockey on Saturday.
Boehm broke a 1-1 tie at 19:59 of the second, and Dan Bakala made a game-high 11 saves in the third period to preserve the lead for the Beavers (11-9-2).
Bowling Green (6-13-3) got on the board first on Bryce Williamson's goal at 13:35 of the first period.
Jeff Jubinville tied it up for Bemidji State at 14:32 of the second period.
The goals by Boehm and Jubinville were their first of the season.
Andrew Hammond had 26 saves for the Falcons, including a high of 12 in the second period.
Bemidji State won Friday's opener 4-1.
