MN Man Arrested After Causing Disturbance During Flight
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man who authorities believe is from Minnesota was arrested late Wednesday night in Los Angeles, Calif., after he allegedly caused a disturbance and fought with a flight attendant.
The Los Angeles FBI said Allen Chaves is being held in California on one count of misdemeanor assault in connection with the incident. It happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Los Angeles International Airport.
Delta Flight 2321 was flying from Minneapolis to Los Angeles when the incident happened. Authorities said Chaves was drunk and being disruptive during the flight to the point where he fought with a flight attendant. Chaves had to be restrained, and the airline contacted the FBI about the incident.
The incident is still under investigation.
