MANKATO, Minn. (AP) — Wisconsin's Mark Zengerle had a goal and an assist to extend his scoring streak to 20 games while leading the Badgers to a 4-0 win over Minnesota State, Mankato in the Western Collegiate Hockey League on Friday.

Zengerle can tie the Wisconsin (10-9-2, 5-8-2) team record held by Badgers' head coach Mike Eaves with a point on Saturday.

Michael Mersch tallied netted a power-play goal in the third period. He, too, had an assist.

MSUM (6-16-1, 2-12-1) outshot the Badgers 36-29, but Wisconsin goalie Joel Rumpel made 36 saves.

Austin Lee had 25 saves for the Mavericks.
