Interior Design Studio Opening Doors To Public

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (WCCO) -- An interior design studio in the Twin Cities is preparing to open to the public for the first time ever this weekend.

The Historic Studio is typically only for trade professionals, but now they are opening their doors and offering some big deals.

"Our thing is to travel and find things all over the world and bring them in, stuff you don't see in this market and in this town," said founder Robb Whittlef. "And now it's going to be available to everybody."

Everything in the store will also be marked 50 percent off during the one-day-only event. Whittlef says that means price points could range from anywhere between $20 and $40,000.

To those who might be afraid to incorporate pieces from various cultures around the world, Whittlef has this advice: "Mix it up! The reality is that no one's life is one-note."

Historic Studio will be open to the public this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The studio is located on West 35th Street near Bass Lake Park in St. Louis Park.
