Foul Play Ruled Out In MIT Student's Death

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say foul play has been ruled out in the death of a 21-year-old Minnesota student who attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Brian Anderson of Redwood Falls was found dead in his dorm room on Monday. Officials said the death does not appear to be suspicious.

The chancellor for MIT said Anderson did not take his own life. Two other students have committed suicide at MIT this year.

Funeral services for Anderson were set for Saturday.
