Cash Reward Offered For Info On Cab Robbery Suspects

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help in finding two men who allegedly robbed a taxi driver at gunpoint last weekend.

The robbery happened on March 18 near the intersection of 46th Avenue and Dupont Avenue in North Minneapolis, police said. When officers arrived at the scene, they learned a Yellow Cab driver had been assaulted and robbed at gunpoint.

The victim said two men robbed him.

Bus surveillance captured images of one of the suspects. Police described him as standing 5-feet, 7-inches tall, weighing 180 – 200 pounds, wearing a black baseball cap, blue jeans, blue deck shoes, and a black letterman-style jacket with patches on the arms.
