Hugo Man, 63, Sentenced For Sexually Abusing Kids

STILLWATER (WCCO) -- A 63-year-old Hugo man has been sentenced to prison for two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, the Washington County Attorney's Office announced.

On Friday, Washington District Court Judge Ellen Maas sentenced Kenneth Wick to 24 years in prison.

Previously in January 2012, Wick pleaded guilty and admitted to having sexual penetration with one male and two female relatives, stemming all the way back to 2006.

"The length of this sentence should send a message loud and clear that sexual predators can and will be dealt with harshly. Our hope is that this defendant's victims will have the ability to heal now that this ordeal is over for them," said County Attorney Pete Oput.

Assistant County Attorney Karin McCarthy prosecuted the matter.
