Man Cited For Driving 100 MPH, Twice In 1 Hour

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A man was cited twice in one hour for speeding -- in both incidents he was driving more than 100 mph, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Troopers say the man was ticketed going 100 mph on Interstate 94 in the Detroit Lakes area. The speed limit in that area is 70 mph.

An hour later, the same man was ticketed again by a second trooper -- this time traveling at 106 mph on the same road.

During the second traffic stop, the driver told the trooper that he has a hard time realizing his speed.
