St. Paul Restaurant Closing Due To Light Rail Construction

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A St. Paul restaurant is spending its Saturday thanking its customers while also preparing for its final day of business.

Caribe Caribbean Bistro in St. Paul is the latest business to suffer from construction in the area due to the Central Corridor Light Rail project. The restaurant will officially close its doors for good after it serves brunch on Sunday.

It opened in April of 2010, but business suffered immediately when construction began in the area in March of 2011.

On its web site, the restaurant has a farewell letter thanking its customers.
