Minnesota Red Bull Soldiers Return Home

MAPLEWOOD, Minn. (WCCO) - A fourth wave of Minnesota Red Bull soldiers were welcomed back home Monday.

Staff Sgt. Josh Revere got some big hugs from his wife Rachel, and daughters Aleena and Lily.

"Overall, it's good," said Revere. "We're all happy."

Revere's daughters were also quite adamant about a trip to Chucky Cheese to celebrate their father's homecoming.

More than 225 members of the 34th Red Bull Infantry Division were greeted by family and friends in Maplewood.

They spent nearly a year overseas, which felt like several years away from their families.

The Minnesota National Guard soldiers were in Kuwait supporting the final phase of the war in Iraq.
