Authorities: Mother, 3 Kids In Possible Abduction Found Safe

Update: the woman and her kids have been found safe.

FARIBAULT, Minn. (WCCO) -- Faribault Police are investigating the possible abduction of a 24-year-old woman and her three small children.

Authorities identified the woman as Andrea Moreno Ramirez and her three small children as 5-year-old Leslie, 3-year-old Lisbeth and 2-year-old Johnathan.

They were last seen leaving the Cannon Valley Clinic in Faribault with a man police identify as Angel or Luis Hernandez. At this point, police have been unable to verify his identity.

Hernandez is described as in his early-20s, 5- to 5-feet-4-inches tall, 140 pounds, well dressed with clean cut hair. He has a front gold tooth and often wears gold jewelry.

Hernandez was last seen driving a black GM Hummer with Minnesota license plates and 26-inch rims.

According to authorities, Ramirez made a phone call to a friend, saying her boyfriend had taken control of her vehicle and that he was "taking them to I35." Her cell phone was pinged in a wooded area near a bicycle triail, but police were unable to locate anything. The cell phone has since been turned off.

Anyone with information is asked to contact law enforcement.
