2 Arrested For Prostitution In Undercover Massage Parlor Sting
HOPKINS, Minn. (WCCO) -- An undercover prostitution sting led to the arrests of two women at two separate Asian Massage Parlors in Hopkins Tuesday, according to police.
Yachi Xiao, 53, was arrested at Asian Massage, located on the 1200 block of Mainstreet. Gui Yang, 62, was arrested at Ying Ying Massage on the 900 block of 1st Street North. Both were arrested for gross misdemeanor prostitution charges.
According to the criminal complaint, an undercover officer entered Asian Massage wearing a "body bug" audio device. The undercover officer then negotiated a 60-minute massage for $80, but said Xiao offered to "manipulate" his penis for an extra $40, which he gave to her. Once she began, he informed officers and they entered the business and arrested Xiao.
On the same day, Yang was arrested in a similar sting.
The Hopkins Police Department will continue to investigate the crimes to determine if others were involved.
Action against the establishment's license is pending.
