Billboard Job Seeker Lands A New Gig
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- If you were unemployed, would you spend $300 to land a new job? Bennett Olson did, and it's paying off.
Olson spent the money for an eight-second clip on an electronic billboard. The billboard ad simply featured his photo, a link to his website, and the words, "Hire Me!"
Olson has just accepted a sales and marketing position with Laser Design and GKS in Bloomington.
He joined WCCO's John Williams Tuesday to talk about his new job.
