Art 4 Shelter: Buying Art For A Cause

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- You can get some great deals on art and also help out people in need Wednesday evening.

The second annual Art 4 Shelter is being held at the Burnet Gallery in Le Meridien Chambers Hotel in Minneapolis.

More than 1,000 works of art will be available for purchase at $30 apiece.

The works will only be signed on the back, according to Art 4 Shelter's website, so you don't know whether you're getting a piece of art from a renowned artist or someone on the cusp of being discovered.

All proceeds go to benefit Simpson Housing Services.

There will be a preview from 5 to 7 p.m. followed by a sale from 7 to 9 p.m.
