Boy Who Survived Deadly Sailboat Accident Going To Therapy
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The boy who survived a sailboat accident that took the lives of his two brothers is now taking another step forward in his recovery.
Eight-year-old Isaiah Risland is on his way to Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare for inpatient rehabilitation therapy.
On his CaringBridge site, Risland's family says he is now able to walk well in his ankle braces, and he's able to feed himself.
The family says they're grateful for the continued support and prayers they've received.
