Officials: Missing Pope Co. Woman Found; Man Still Missing

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities have found the 30-year-old Pope County woman who was allegedly abducted by a man Thursday morning.

Public Safety Department officials said the woman was found around 9 p.m. The circumstances that led authorities to finding her are not known. Her condition is also unknown.

Authorities asked for the public's help in finding her on Thursday afternoon. Police suspect 39-year-old Dennis Aasen (pictured) took the woman against her will. She was believed to be in danger, because Aasen was thought to be armed.

Aasen has not been found, officials said.

Police also think Aasen stole the woman's 1999 tan Chevy Suburban. It is not known if the truck has been found.

She was first reported missing after she didn't show up to work at a flower shop. Police went to check on her at her home and found that she and her truck were missing.
