“People shouldn’t be surprised this weekend, on Saturday, Sunday or Monday, to see helicopters over wetlands, dropping dry granular formulations of a soil bacterium that will hopefully keep mosquitoes from hatching and ruining our picnics, or transmitting a disease this summer,” said Jim Stark, the Executive Director of the Metropolitan Mosquito Control District.
