Peruse The Mississippi On A Kayak
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- While most people chose lakes to relax, Bob Schmitz of Above the Falls Sports in downtown Minneapolis hopes to change that.
He took WCCO's Jamie Yuccas on a kayak trip down the Mississippi River.
"About 99 percent of the people we bring out on the water can't believe they can kayak on the Mississippi, in Minneapolis," Schmitz said. "And they're in awe of being on the Mississippi, and can't believe it's not a sewer. It's a great river to be on."
His favorite part of the river is everything – he loves all of it.
"Every day is a new day on the river," he said. "It's fabulous."
