Vikes' Harvin 'Feels Great' After Shoulder Surgery
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Percy Harvin says his surgically repaired shoulder "feels great" and he hopes to join the Minnesota Vikings for optional practices as soon as next week.
The receiver watched from the sideline Wednesday while the Vikings held a workout. He did some conditioning drills, including running a hill with star running back Adrian Peterson, who is recovering from knee surgery.
Harvin had minor surgery to address some soreness in his shoulder that he had been feeling since the middle of last season. He says he has been lobbying coaches to join the team for practices, but they are holding him out as a precaution.
Harvin caught 87 passes for 967 yards and six touchdowns last season.
