Holly Wagner talked to the garden experts at Bachman’s to get the scoop.
Susie Bachman, of Bachman’s Floral, said the trendiest color of the season is orange.
Bachman pointed out that papaya petunias are a popular example of orange flowers, though they may appear more “coral” to some.READ MORE: Whitecaps Jump To 5th Place With 2-0 Win Over Loons
There has been a lot of work done with petunias lately, Bachman noted.
“Petunias are a little old fashioned, but they’re making a huge comeback,” she said.
Flowers aren’t the only thing to focus on in the springtime. There are also grasses you should consider, including a brand called Bunny Blue. Bachman also suggested evergreen trees to anchor your spring garden.
