Deer Poacher Pleads Guilty
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Rushford man pleaded guilty Tuesday to one felony count of theft for shooting a 21-point buck while trespassing on a southeastern Minnesota deer farm in December 2011.
Ryan Jackson, who was 19 when he shot the deer last winter, will be sentenced on Aug. 14, 2012 in a Houston County court.
Jackson allegedly cut through the farm's fence, and shot the 3-year-old, near-record size buck with a bow and arrow.
