Goin' To The Lake: Frank & Chris Visit Lake City
LAKE CITY, Minn. (WCCO) -- All this week we've gone to some of your favorite lake places, and Frank and Chris capped the five-day trip on Friday with their first stop south of the Twin Cities -- Lake City, Minn.
The duo has traveled 900 miles in five days, sharing the best Minnesota has to offer, to end up on Lake Pepin on the Mississippi River. The lake is about 24 miles long and 2 miles wide and is the largest lake along the Mississippi River.
Appropriately titled, Lake City has a lot of water activities to offer.
It is, after all, where the sport of water skiing was created some 90 years ago.
