Police Looking For Man Who Passed Fake Money

CHASKA, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities are investigating after a man recently passed counterfeit money at a convenience store in Chaska.

Police said the man walked into a Super America convenience store and passed a fake bill before leaving the scene in a black Chevy Blazer. Surveillance video shows that the incident happened at about 4:54 p.m. on June 25.

Authorities did not say what the monetary value of the bill was. The man seen on surveillance video passing the bill is an African-American man wearing a white bandana and a white T-shirt.
