Police: Hector Man Arrested In Stabbing
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police arrested a 20-year-old Hector man after he allegedly stabbed another man late last month.
The Hector Police Department said the stabbing happened on June 30 at a house on the 500 block of Douglas Avenue East. When officers arrived at the home, they found a man with a stab wound. Not long after that, officers arrested Kevin Brand.
Crews airlifted the victim, who has not been identified, to the Hennepin County Medical Center, where he is undergoing treatment. Officers brought Brand to the Renville County Jail.
Brand was charged with second-degree assault. But after appearing in court for the stabbing, he was released with conditions, police said.
