ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) — A 17-year-old Clear Lake teen who was pinned in a head-on collision in St. Cloud has died of his injuries, according to police.

The 17-year-old male, identified as Joseph Matthew Kuntz, was heading eastbound in a pickup truck when he collided with 26-year-old Amanda Colette Binkley, who was traveling westbound.READ MORE: Police Seek Suspect In Fatal Shooting Near George Floyd Memorial
When officers arrived on the scene, the teen was pinned underneath the passenger side of his truck. Emergency crews freed him from the wreckage, and transported him to the St. Cloud Hospital with potentially life threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
