Man Charged With Murder Of His Mother
ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) -- Chad Matthew Pulju, 40, was charged Friday in Stearns County District Court with second-degree murder for the stabbing death of his mother.
Police say at 12:34 a.m. on Aug. 23, 2012, they arrived at Atwood Drive in St. Cloud for a domestic assault in progress.
Authorities found Pulju, with blood on his shirt, standing behind his mother, who was covered in blood. A folding knife under Pulju's left leg was covered in blood, police said.
The victim was pronounced dead at 2:10 a.m. at the St. Cloud hospital due to multiple stab wounds to the face, neck and arm.
When questioned, Pulju claimed to have no recollection of events regarding the death of his mother, police said.
