River Raft Ride Reopens At Minnesota State Fair

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (WCCO) -- A great place to cool off here at the fair is usually the River Raft ride. But that had not been happening for part of last night and this morning, because of an electrical problem.

The ride reopened around noon Wednesday, after components of the motor starter were replaced. It was tested for about an hour and reopened after that.

Ride inspectors were waiting for a part to come in, so the ride could be fixed, so couldn't reopen the ride Tuesday night, as planned.
