2012 MN State Fair 2nd Best Attended In History

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- This year's Minnesota State Fair total attendance numbers are out – and it was a close one.

Total attendance at the 2012 State Fair was 1,788,512, which makes it the second best attended in history. The fair achieved this record without setting any individual day attendance records.

This year's total attendance is just fewer than 2,000 visitors shy of the all-time total attendance record set in 2009: 1,790,497 visitors.
