COON RAPIDS, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities say a body was found near the Coon Rapids Dam Tuesday night, and authorities said they believe it’s a 31-year-old man who has been missing since Aug. 25.
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office said two passers-by found the body Tuesday night at about 6 p.m. near the Coon Rapids Dam on Mississippi River Boulevard near Uplander Street. Alan Lyle Taylor has not been seen since Aug. 25, and his disappearance had been described as “suspicious.” At the time, he was wearing red shorts and no shirt. The body has been turned over to the Anoka County Medical Examiner’s Office for a positive identification. The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office told WCCO Radio Wednesday morning they believe it is Taylor.
