Police: Mounds View Man Shot In Head

MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. (WCCO) -- Mounds View Police found a 30-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head at on Friday morning at the 2600 block of Scotland Court in Mounds View.

Following up on a 911 call from the female resident, officers found a handgun at the scene. The male victim was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center.

The police say no suspects are being sought at this time and that there is no risk to the community.

The apartment is being processed by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA).
