Mark Mallman Rocking 24/7 From N.Y. To L.A.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Twin Cities musician Mark Mallman is taking his show on the road, rocking every night ... and every day, as well.

Mallman is currently playing for seven days straight, 24 hours a day, all while driving in a conversion van from New York City to Los Angeles.

His team is making pit stops along the way to jam with local musicians.

He has a team of roadies, called the "Road Rogue" team, who help him keep the music going, even while he sleeps.

"He's got two brain controllers, one that he sleeps with and takes 10 different inputs from his brainwaves and then his heartbeat will give him the tempo and then the brainwaves will create the melody as he sleeps," said engineer Stuart Devaan.

Mallman, who used to work at WCCO-TV as an editor, has more than three days left on his tour. You can watch his journey online, as it's being streamed 24 hours a day.
