Hastings senior quarterback Alex Weise played a major role in the Raiders’ 34-33 victory over Cretin-Derham Hall on Friday night, their second overtime win in as many weeks. It was Hastings’ first victory over Cretin-Derham Hall in more than a decade.

One week after Weise passed for 311 yards in an overtime victory against Roseville, he ran for two touchdowns and passed for two against Cretin-Derham Hall, completing 17 of 32 passes for 274 yards. He scored a touchdown on the ground in the fourth quarter to help Hastings come back from a 27-14 deficit, then scored on a two-yard run in overtime, with the extra point kick sealing the victory. Hastings will play host to East Ridge this Friday.
